90-Day Coating FAQs
By combining our 90-day Antimicrobial coating with regular cleaning and disinfecting, a premise can be sure it is implementing the highest standard of surface defence against harmful microbes.
We strongly recommend applying our 90-day antimicrobial coating before your business reopens. This will provide the applicator with a clean and empty space for application. Applying the coating before people potentially bring in contamination is a sensible action plan.
Yes, it is effective against this type of virus as the coating terminates by puncturing the cell wall and rendering the virus unable to infect. Studies have been shown to prove this and are available to view on request.
Yes, there are several tests done on the active ingredients by independent laboratories. We can provide these on request.
Our coating will not be removed by normal cleaning or disinfectants, it can only be removed with abrasion.
No, the technology that our coating uses is a mechanical kill, creating a very thin layer of “nano-spikes” that penetrate the virus/bacteria that comes in contact with the coating, destroying the cell.
No, once our 90-day antimicrobial coating has bonded to the surface it creates a durable layer of protection which provides an inhospitable environment for pathogens, by mechanical means, and the coating does not leach any chemicals into the environment.
The major difference is this product does not evaporate after being applied, the coating bonds to the surface it has been applied to for 90 days.
Our antimicrobial coating is a universal coating, meaning it is suited for all kinds of industries and environments, including: indoor and outdoor environments.
The only other technology that is currently available for long term surface protection are coatings that are terminating the pathogens by infecting the microorganism with a chemical agent such as silver, copper or zinc. We have chosen to utilize this technology as it is highly effective without leaching chemicals into the environment once the coating has cured.
Our coating will adhere to a wide variety of surfaces including metals, plastics, ceramic, carpet, timber, and upholstery. Our antimicrobial coating is colourless and odourless by nature, therefore it does not stain fabric materials.
No, our antimicrobial coating provides its users with an invisible shield of protection that is undetectable to the naked eye.
No, this is an additional level of protection that does not only eliminate harmful microorganisms on application but continues to eliminate them all day every day.
After a few minutes the coating will be dry to the touch, however, we recommend you allow it 2 hours for the coating to completely bond to the surface it has been applied to.
Yes, we have ensured to be registered in the majority of the European countries and are following the guidelines set out by ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).
Our manufacturers recommends using a cold fogger to apply the coating to ensure all surfaces have an even/complete layer of protection.
After diluting our 90-day antimicrobial coating concentrate 1:5 with water, you will get a total of 25 litres of ready-to-use product.
You can coat 1000m2 with 25 litres of ready-to-use, using the fogger application method.
NanoGuardX FAQs
We recommend further treatment 12 months after application, or if the coating has been compromised by heavy abrasive cleaning
NanoGuard X offers the following key performance characteristics:
Safe antimicrobial functionality – presence can be verified using a marker (bacteria, viruses & fungi)
Prevents microbial odours
Permanent fungicidal function
Deprives house dust mites of food
Prevents mould growth on smooth and textured surfaces
Prevents micro scratches and reduces damage by improving the friction coefficient
Facilitates cleaning and removal of limescale, soot, grease, dust etc.
Promotes comfort, well-being, and safety
Free from halogens (especially fluorine, PBT/vPvB- & SVHC-substances)
Self-disinfecting easy application
Our coating protects your surfaces from a range of viruses, bacterias, mold, algaes and odors. Also, the coating acts as a sacrificial layer of protection for the surface itself, protecting against micro-scratches and general wear and tear.

You can coat 5m2 with 50ml of product.
According to regulations the formulation is not considered as dangerous or hazardous. There are no known side effects.

No, by formulating an ultra thin layer of glass NanoGuardX protects, against micro-scratches. Under mechanical abrasion, the protective layer is abraded before the substrate is damaged. A unique glide function, ensures that with any abrasive contact, materials glide over the treated surface and leave fewer traces. Protected surfaces take-on a measurably higher degree of hardness {Equivalent of 3 level pencil hardness}

No, this is an additional level of protection that does not only eliminate harmful microorganisms on application but continues to eliminate them all day every day.
After a few minutes the coating will be dry to the touch, however, we recommend you allow it 6 hours for the coating to completely bond to the surface it has been applied to.
STEP 2: Ensure surface is already clean and dry. Use the Cleaner & Primer spray to degrease and deep-clean the surface thoroughly. It is recommended that the area to be treated is split into 0.25m² sections and sprayed evenly with 16 pumps (per 0.25m²) of the spray to ensure the best coverage. Polish-in the liquid with one of the wipes until the surface is completely evenly covered. Any residual liquid will evaporate in approximately 5 minutes at normal room temperature, leaving the polymer base layer. Only in the case of extreme contamination (or limescale) should a pre-cleaner for a specific type of contamination be used before the Cleaner & Primer spray is applied. STEP 2: Apply the Coating spray to the pre-treated area, again splitting into areas of 0.25m² and using 16 pumps per section, polish with a new wipe as in Step 1 to achieve an even finish. Note: Any sediment visible in the bottom of the coating bottle is a natural occurrence – shake before use.
STEP 3: After 2 mins the surface should be buffed using the same wipe as in Step 2 until all visible streaks disappear, to leave a polished surface. After 6 hours the coating is hardened and ready for use. Wipe clean routinely and if necessary, use a non-abrasive household surface cleaner with a pH of between 4-9; do not use ‘spray and leave’ cleaners, so to avoid a residue on the surface.
Reapply after 12 months in heavily cleaned or abraded areas.
